Patriot's Gwinnett County presence grew from a practical need: seniors, patients, and care teams in North Gwinnett needed reliable medical transportation from a provider with local vehicles and accountable dispatch.
In 2025, Patriot was awarded the North Zone of the Gwinnett County Senior Services transportation contract, bringing ADA wheelchair van and ambulatory MedVan services to seniors across the North Gwinnett service area. That work required more than putting vehicles on the road. It required documented service standards, responsive scheduling, trained drivers, accessible equipment, and daily coordination with a county program serving residents who depend on timely transportation.
On May 5, 2026, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners voted to renew that contract for another year, effective June 4, 2026. The renewal is a plain vote of confidence from the county in Patriot's service quality and reliability. Winning and then retaining a county government contract through competitive evaluation is meaningful because public agencies review performance, responsiveness, cost, and the ability to serve vulnerable residents consistently.
