Statewide and nationwide coordination
Long distance transports with experienced planners
Patriot EMS has deep experience coordinating ambulance, wheelchair, and ambulatory transports throughout the country, with consistent dispatch accountability from pickup through handoff.
Modes we coordinate
Every itinerary is different. Supervisors scope the clinical need, mileage, payer rules, and handoff locations, then build a plan that may blend multiple modes.
- Ground ambulance relays: crew swaps, fuel stops, and hotel holds for multi-day BLS runs across the Lower 48.
- Commercial travel with escort: stable patients who can fly commercial with a Patriot EMS clinician or approved partner clinician bedside.
- Mobility and bariatric road units: wheelchair or specialty van segments booked end-to-end with the same dispatch record.
- Air medical transport: in limited cases, coordination through licensed partner providers when speed or geography demands it.

Depth of experience
Patriot EMS has facilitated long-line moves that stretch well beyond Georgia, including itineraries terminating on the West Coast and cross-border transports into Canada when payer, passport, and receiving facility clearances align. We document every leg, share ETAs with families, and keep receiving teams updated through Comms.
International segments require additional paperwork, customs windows, and clinical sign-off. Tell us the origin, destination country, and desired arrival window so we can pair you with the right legal and medical partners early in the process.
How to start
- Submit a booking request with pickup, destination, and requested timing.
- A supervisor reviews clinical fit, crew availability, and payer considerations.
- Comms calls or emails you to confirm the plan, pricing expectations, and documents.
- Once agreed, dispatch assigns crews or partner assets and monitors the live route.
